Action #089

Ring the IT help desk just to see how they are

This action has been done 1,108 times which means there are 1,108 geeks who are :)

Are the people who work in IT human beings? To answer that questions you first need to ask this - will they work better if you just turn them off and start them up again? After all, that's how people in IT respond when your machine doesn't work. (The technical term is 'rebooting'. As in, 'if this machine doesn't work soon, I'm going to reboot it out the window.') But the people who man the IT desk aren't machines. And in fact, there are nearly a million real people in this country working in the IT industry. So, try getting on with them before they take over completely.
